The MC has more personality as he's not some generic slouch, though the general beats to the base game are followed with these minor/major tweaks. Rather, the game takes place shortly before the base game had taken place and the mod forces the story to alter in a way that the MC is the Club President, Monika is the Childhood Friend, Sayori is a close friend of Monikas while the MC tutors her in math and Natsuki and Yuri remain relatively unchanged. While Monika chooses to help you achieve the ending you wanted behind the scenes her route is still not an option. She reluctantly agrees to help you "save them". While this mod doesn't go through the "second half" of the base game it doesn't ignore what had taken place and even has a few cheeky reminders sprinkled about. This mod doesn't change much until after the Sunday choice, after which you get into deeper backstories of the characters that feature both a good ending and bad ending. If you happen to be a fan of dating sims or want a fuller DDLC story this mod adds +11 hours of additional content, custom music and delivers it's own messages of patience, trust and acceptance. Hint: Each character must love one of your poems at least once and none of them can hate any of your poems. Monika is still self-aware, but has a valid reason for choosing not to corrupt the game which you will only achieve if you unlock her Sunday choice. ![]() The game doesn't change until you get to the Weekend choice. There's even a shortcut feature to blast through the 3 poem minigames with a result screen saying who Liked, Loved or Hated the poem. TLC is a rather short mod that aims to add endings to each of the characters. Rather, they push the story further in different ways while staying true to the core aspects of DDLC. The mods below are great, but they don't ignore any part of the story. Sure, there's plenty of trash mods to choose from that fit what you're looking for.
